The Seeking Individual
Moving Through “Stuckness,” Transitions, and the Search for Meaning
Many people come to therapy when the life they’ve built no longer fits. You may have followed the map you were given—career, relationships, milestones—only to find yourself feeling untethered, anxious, or profoundly weary. This "stuckness" is not a failure; it is a signal that your current way of being has become too small for the person you are becoming.
I offer individual therapy in Portland and across Oregon for those ready to move beyond symptom management and toward a life lived with intention.
The Landscape of the Work
In our sessions, we don’t just look at what is "wrong"; we look at what is true. We hold space for the complexities of:
Existential Anxiety & Restlessness: Addressing the "weight of the world" and the search for a personal center.
Life Transitions: Navigating the "in-between" spaces of career changes, loss, or shifting identities.
Grief & Loss: Honoring the depth of what has been lost while discovering what remains.
The Authentic Self: Differentiating between the "shoulds" of your history and the values that actually move you.
A Grounded Clinical Foundation
While our exploration may be philosophical, it is grounded by evidence-informed frameworks. I don’t believe in "fixing" people because I don’t believe people are broken. Instead, I use a relational lens to help you understand the patterns you carry. By slowing down and attending to your lived experience in the here-and-now, we move from reactive survival to conscious agency.
