Step Into the Unknown Together
Sometimes the ways we've learned to cope stop working—not because something is broken, but because something in our lives has changed.
Therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Rather than treating symptoms as problems to simply diagnose or eliminate, we can explore them in the context of your relationships, history, identity, and the life you're trying to build.
My role isn't to tell you who you should be or hand you a formula for feeling better. It's to work alongside you—to understand what's happening, make room for new possibilities, and help you develop a way of living that feels more intentional, connected, and genuinely your own.
Areas of Focus
Therapy with me is about making sense of your lived experience, noticing how self-perception is shaped over time, and reclaiming your agency.

Teens, Young Adults & Men
For the teenager, young adult, or man trying to find his footing in a world that can feel increasingly uncertain, overwhelming, or disconnected.
Therapy can offer a place to explore identity, relationships, purpose, expectations, and the question of what it means to build a life that actually feels like your own. With teenage boys especially, our work may involve creating enough space for curiosity and honesty to emerge without forcing a conversation before they're ready.
This isn't about handing you a set of fixes or telling you who you should become. It's about understanding where you are, what has shaped you, and where you want to go from here.

Relationships can become places where the same conflicts, misunderstandings, and patterns repeat—despite both people wanting something different.
Rather than focusing only on the surface-level conflict, we can slow down and explore the patterns of connection and disconnection underneath it. The work is about creating greater honesty, shared understanding, and the possibility of relating to one another differently.
-
Anxiety can narrow the world around you—making it difficult to think clearly, feel grounded, or move toward the things that matter.
Rather than treating anxiety as something to simply eliminate, we can explore what is happening beneath it and how your experiences, relationships, expectations, and circumstances may be shaping it. Together, we can develop greater flexibility in how you respond to what you're facing.
-
Depression can feel like more than sadness. Sometimes it's a loss of energy, connection, direction, or a sense that the life you're living no longer fits.
Our work can involve making sense of that experience without reducing it to a diagnosis or trying to force your way back to who you were before. We can explore your values, relationships, circumstances, and hopes for the future while looking for a sense of meaning that feels honest and durable.
-
Some experiences leave us in the space between what was and what comes next.
Grief, changes in career or identity, the end or beginning of a relationship, and shifts in family life can all create periods of uncertainty where the old ways of understanding yourself no longer quite fit. Therapy can offer a place to make sense of that liminal space and begin shaping what comes next in a way that honors where you've been and who you're becoming.
About Me
I’m a marriage and family therapist associate in Portland, Oregon, providing individual, couples, and family therapy in person and virtual therapy throughout Oregon.
I believe therapy works best as a genuine human relationship—one where we can slow down, look honestly at what is happening, and understand the experiences and patterns that have shaped you.
I’ve been a lot of places and I’ve done a lot of things—but among the most transformative has been in this space, with fellow human beings.
